running in the rain - carpenter woods

Took out my earbuds and ran to the sound of birds and rain hitting leaves. I was making less noise than on a dry day (nothing crunchy underfoot!) and I like to imagine that I bothered the birds and squirrels a bit less. Crashed through water logged branches, got mud on my socks! Mind empty. Highly recommend!
